CorrMed Strengthens Global Reach with Distributor Visits in Australia & New Zealand

Throughout May-June, our Commercial Director Fiona travelled to Australia and New Zealand to support our valued distributor, Sutherland Medical, and to meet with healthcare teams and partners across the region.

The visit included stops in Perth, Brisbane, and New Zealand, where Fiona met with community nursing teams, hospital at home teams, and leading medical distributors in the emergency and marine sectors. Conversations centred around how CorrMed’s infection prevention compliant medical bags — including the Community Nurse range and the City Backpack — can support teams in delivering safe, efficient care in diverse environments, from home visits to emergency response.

Feedback was extremely positive, with healthcare professionals praising the attention to infection prevention detail that sets CorrMed bags apart — from fully wipeable handles and zips to the absence of mesh, Velcro, and other hard-to-clean materials. This level of compliance and design precision is helping teams across the world minimise cross-contamination risks while keeping kit organised and accessible.

Fiona also met with Wendy Sullivan at Marine Medical (Australia) and Katie Williamson at Oceania Medical (New Zealand), both respected distributors in the marine and EMS sectors. These conversations highlighted the wide relevance of CorrMed’s products beyond hospitals and community care, ensuring medical teams are properly equipped wherever care is needed.
